How to Utilize Tags for Sorting, Filtering, and Organizing Data

Introduction to Tags
- Tags are used to sort, filter, and organize your data effectively.
- They can help determine which individuals will receive specific marketing efforts.
Accessing the Tag Settings
- Navigate to Settings in the menu pane.
- Click on the Tags section.
Viewing the List of Tags
- Within the Tags section, you can see a complete list of your current tags.
- It also displays the creation date and last update date of each tag.
Creating New Tags

Deleting Tags
- Locate the tag you wish to delete.
- Select the three dots to the right and click Delete.
- Click Confirm to delete.
Viewing Tags in Contacts
- Navigate to Contacts in the menu pane and then select a Contact card.
- On the left side, scroll down to the bottom and locate the section titled Actions.
- Here you can view this contact's Tags. You can add or remove Tags here as well.
Filtering Contacts by Tags
- Navigate to Contacts in the menu pane.
- Click on More Filters to find specific people based on their Tags.
- "Is not empty" filter displays individuals with any listed tags.
- "Is empty" filter shows only those without any tags.
- To view individuals with a particular tag, select "Is" and enter the tag name.
- Once you have defined the desired filters, click on Apply.
- The record list will update, displaying only the contacts that match the specified Tag filter.
Saving and Creating Smart Lists
- If desired, click Save as Smart List to save the applied filter for future use. Give the Smart List a name and click Save.
- This filtered Smart List can be used to send different email campaigns.
