How to Add a New Tag for Contacts

Add a Tag Directly on the Contact Card

  1. Locate the contact for which you want to add a new tag.

  2. Scroll down until you locate the Actions section on the left.

  3. Within the Tags section, type out the desired tag.

  4. As you type, tag name will start to populate with a plus sign next to it.

  5. Click on the plus sign to add the tag to the contact.

  6. The tag has now been successfully added.


Add a Tag through Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings in the menu pane and then Tags.
  2. Click on + Add Tag.
  3. Type out the name of the tag you want to create.
  4. Once you have entered the tag name, click Save.
  5. The new tag has now been added to your account.

Both methods allow you to add tags to your account, with the first method directly adding tags to specific contacts, while the second method adds tags globally to be used across multiple contacts.
