Disconnecting Email Two Way Sync

By following these steps, you can easily disable the two-way sync feature for your email.

Two-way sync can be a powerful tool for keeping your email data synchronized. However, there may be times when you need to disable this feature. Whether you want to troubleshoot an issue or simply no longer need the synchronization, turning off two-way sync is a straightforward process.

Step 1: Access My Profile

  1. Once logged in, go to Settings then find My Profile

Step 2: Locate the Two-Way Sync Configuration

  1. Find the Email Sync Section: Look for the section titled Email (2-way sync)

  2. Identify the Connected Email Account: You will see the connected email account that is set up for two-way sync.

Step 3: Disable the Two-Way Sync

  1. Click the Trash Can Icon: Directly to the right of the email address, you will see a trash can icon. Click on this icon to initiate the disconnection process.

Step 4: Verify the Disconnection

  1. Check Sync Status: After disconnecting, verify that the email address no longer appears in the list of connected emails. This ensures that the two-way sync feature has been successfully disabled.

  2. Test Your Email Functionality: It’s important to note that disabling two-way sync does not affect your ability to send or receive emails within the Vintory platform, nor does it impact calendar synchronization. Ensure that your email sending and calendar functionalities are still working as expected.

Important Considerations

  • Email and Calendar Sync: Disabling two-way sync only affects the synchronization of email data between Vintory and your personal email account. It does not interfere with your calendar sync or email sending capabilities.

  • Re-enabling Sync: If you need to re-enable two-way sync in the future, you can follow the original setup steps to reconnect your email account.
