Get your team added into the system

Accessing Settings

Navigate to Settings in the menu pane and then select the My Staff section.

  1. Select + Add Employee
  2. In the User Info section, enter in the Required information for adding an employee: first name, last name and email address.

With the new update,

  • Admin can now add or create users without having to set a password for them.
  • New created Users will receive an invitation email and a Call To Action (CTA) to proceed with account activation and login.

  • Upon clicking the CTA, user is prompted to create a password
  • After setting the password, user can log in to the account using the email and newly created password

Setting User Permissions

  1. Expand the User Permissions section.
  2. Assess the employee's job role and decide which areas they need access to edit.

User Roles

  1. Expand the User Roles section.
  2. Select the appropriate User Role from the dropdown menu.  Depending on the assigned user role, access levels will vary:
    1. If the employee is assigned as a User, they will only have access to the permissions set at the top. 
    2. If the employee is assigned as an Admin, they will have access to ALL areas of the system

Saving New Employee Changes

Once you have completed the required information in the User Info section, assigned the User Permissions and User Role, click on the Save button.  You have now successfully added a user in the system.

    Accessing the My Staff Section

    Please note that only Admins can access the My Staff section.

    • If you don't see the My Staff section, it means your User Role is set as a User and not an Admin.
    • As an Admin, you can add an employee by following the previous steps.

    User Configuration

    For added convenience, it is recommended that new users configure their own settings:

    • New users can log in to Vintory using their email and the password created for them.
    • They can add their headshot, set up their signature, configure their calendar, voicemail, and availability settings underneath the My Profile section found under Settings.

    Multiple Market User Access

    If you have multiple markets and need one or more users to access all of them, please submit a support ticket to the Vintory Support Team to request assistance. Navigate to Support in the menu pane in order to complete the support ticket.

    Changing a Password for a User / Forgot Password

    Admins can send a password reset link to other Users. 

    1. Navigate to Settings in the menu pane and then select the My Staff section.
    2. Locate the User's name and click on the pencil icon to the right.
    3. In the User Info section, click on the Forgot Password button.  An email will now be sent to the User for them to Reset their Password.

    Admins have the option to change their own password directly from the Vintory system. Instead of clicking on Forgot Password inside the User Info section, you can type your New Password in the field and then click on Save at the bottom to make this change.
