Workflow Trigger Types

Creating different type of Workflow triggers

Triggers are conditional statements  that connect all the different modules of Vintory workflow together. Think of triggers as the wiring or 'secret sauce' in the back-end making all the cool things workflow does actually happen.

 

Follow the steps below to Create Workflow and select different Trigger types:

  1. Go to Automation  
  2. Click + Create Workflow 
  3. Choose Start from Scratch
  4. Click + Add New Trigger
5.  Choose a relevant trigger type from the dropdown and add all the necessary filters

  1. Hit Save Trigger button to save the selected trigger



Below are example of commonly used trigger Type:

  • Form Submitted- Runs when a form is submitted
  • Opportunity Changed- Runs when the opportunity get changed
  • Customer Booked Appointment- Runs when a customer bookes an appointment
  • Customer Replied- Runs when an incoming message is received from a contact
  • Call Status- Runs on outbound and inbound calls
