Set up a default Header for your Custom Sending Domain

  1. Navigate to Settings in the menu pane and then Email Services.
  2. Click on the Dedicated Domain and IP button on the right hand side.
  3. Locate the 3 dots next to your new custom sending domain.  Select Set Headers from the dropdown.

  4. Add in your desired From Name and From Email. Click SAVE to complete changes.
Please note the From Email must align with the created domain.
  5. This designated header will now be applied to all emails sending through the domain.

What does this look like?

Below is an example of an email sent within the Vintory platform to a Contact.  You can see how it now replaces the From Name and From Email to that of the default header.  It will no longer display the user assigned to them as the From Name or From Email.

Example Email Before Sending:

After Sending: The From Name now displays "List Property Management Team" as set up in the default header.

Examining the Message Details: It now shows the From Email as the info@listpropertymanagement.com as set up in the default header

How it looks from the Contact's inbox: It displays both the From Name and From Email that were set up in the default header regardless who sent it.  The only piece distinguishing who sent it here is the email signature.
