How to Proof Your Template Before Sending
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to Design Studio:
- On the left-hand side, click on "Design Studio."

Access Your Templates
- Navigate to Creative: From the top menu, go to Creative.
- View Templates: Click on View Templates to see any templates that have been created.

Start the Proofing Process
- Select a Template: Choose the template you want to proof. If it hasn't been proofed yet, you will see this status.
- Initiate Proofing: Click on the three dots next to the template and select Proof.

List Data
- Use List Data: This option allows you to use any lists imported into Design Studio.
- Select Postcard: For example, choose Template Title and click Next.

Return Address Check
- Verify Address: Ensure the return address is correct before starting the proofing process.

Proofing Steps

Image Quality Check:
- Confirm that all images are of high quality.
- Ensure there are no hidden or unnecessary images. If needed, return to the editor to delete them.

Safe Area Check:
- Toggle between the front and back of the template.
- Zoom in and out to get a good view.
- Ensure no text or images are too close to the edge (within an eighth of an inch from the edge).

Bleed Check:
- Background images should extend to the bleed lines to avoid unintentional white borders.
- Confirm that all background images cover the entire creative area.

Copy, Spelling, and Formatting Check:
- Look for any spelling or formatting errors.
- Review both the front and back of the template.

Address Checks:
- Review return and recipient addresses to ensure accuracy.
- Recipient addresses are run through the system for verification.
- Personalization Check
- Review and ensure that the QR Code is presenting properly and is in the safe area.

Final Confirmation
- Accept the Proof: Once all checks are complete, accept the proof.
- Initial and Confirm: Enter your initials and accept the final proof.
- pURLs and QR codes rendered in the proof are not "live". They are for examining placement and size to ensure they fit within the safe area. Live pURLs and QR Codes are created when you create a campaign. When your campaign is created, you can download your audience, place your campaign in "online test mode" and test your online tracking.
