Manual Actions Example - Calls

Automate and streamline the process of making outbound phone calls. Power dialers work by automatically dialing phone numbers from a predetermined list

Manual action calls are particularly useful for sales teams that need to make a high volume of outbound calls efficiently, as they can significantly increase the number of calls made per hour.

Once a contact has been put into this list of actions, the system will automatically start calling starting from the top of the list working its way down. Once one call ends it will move onto the next. The easiest way to bulk enroll a specific list of contacts is through a workflow.

Step One: Create/Add the Manual Call action to a Workflow

  1. Open Automations and select  "Create Workflow" or Edit an existing one.
  2. For new automations, choose "Start from scratch"
  3. Once in the selected Workflow, click on the Plus sign to add an action, search for Manual Action To Call, then select Save Action.
  4. Make sure to publish and save at the top!
  5. As the contact moves through the workflow and enters the manual action item, they will be added to "Manual Actions" in the "Conversations" view

Step Two: Using "Let's Start"

MA - 2Navigate to Conversations > Manual Actions.

Here you'll find a list of contacts previously enrolled into the "Manual Actions" item in various workflows. You'll be able to filter the list according to the workflow or campaign you're currently working on.

Once you've completed the manual action, the contact, in the workflow will automatically move to the next step in the workflow if there are any.

If you DO NOT use the "Let's Start" button and instead call the contact directly, the workflow will NOT move the contact to next step in the workflow. In this case, you would need to manually move the contact in the workflow to the next step.
