Learn to import a list into Design Studio

- Navigate to Design Studio:
- On the left-hand side, click on "Design Studio."

Access Import Feature
- From the Design Studio dashboard, go to the Lists in the menu
- From the dropdown choose New List

Choose Your File
- You can import a CSV or an Excel file saved on your computer.
- Click on Choose File to select the file you want to import.

Name Your List
- At the top of the import page, provide a name for your list. For example, "Spring Postcard".

Drag and Drop File
- Drag and drop your file into the designated area.

Create a New List for Each Mailer
- It’s recommended to create a new list for each mailer you send out. This ensures your contact list is always up-to-date.
- Generate a new report and list for each new mailing cycle (monthly or quarterly).

Map Your Headers
- After uploading, you’ll see headers that need to be mapped.
- Green: Required fields.
- Yellow: Optional fields.
- Red: Mandatory fields that are missing.

Field Mapping
- Map the required fields as follows:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Company (if available)
- Address (First Line)
- City
- Region/State
- Postal Code
- If there are two addresses, map both, but ensure everything fits on the first line.

Additional Information
- Map any additional fields like email and phone number if they are included in your list.

Confirm Field Mappings
- Once all fields are mapped correctly, click on Confirm Field Mappings.

Import the List
- Click on Import Now to start the import process.
- The system will perform a quick check and provide a summary of the import.
- Example: Title: Spring Postcard, Contacts Imported: 20, Valid Contacts: 19.

View Imported Lists
- Navigate to My Lists to view the imported lists.
- From the homepage, click on View Lists to see all the lists you have imported.

Create a New List if Needed
- To import a new list, click on New List.
- Ensure your file has key headers: First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zip.
