How to Move an Opportunity Card from One Pipeline to Another

Learn how to use a workflow to move an Opportunity from one pipeline to another

1. Navigate to Automations in the menu pane.
2. Find the workflow for the pipeline that you want to move the opportunity card from.
3. Click on the Trigger section.
4. Click on the + sign to add a new step.
5. Search for and select the Create/Update Opportunity action.
6. In the Pipeline field, select the pipeline that you want to move the opportunity card to.
7. In the Stage field, select the first stage in the new pipeline.
8. In the Opportunity Name field, enter the same name as the original opportunity card.
9. In the Opportunity Source field, leave it blank or enter the same value as the original opportunity card.
10. In the Status field, select Open.
11. Click on the Save Action button.
12. Make sure to click on the Publish button to activate the workflow.

Here are some additional notes:

• The workflow will only trigger when the opportunity card reaches the stage that you specified in the Trigger section.
• You can also use the Create/Update Opportunity action to update an existing opportunity card.
• To make sure that the workflow is working properly, you can test it by moving an opportunity card to the stage that you specified in the Trigger section.
