A general overview of how form submission workflows operate

The Automation

In your account, navigate to Automation > New Leads.

Here you'll notice quite a few workflows for Form Submissions. These workflows follow the same process. For simplicity purposes, we'll be using the Form Submission| New Lead workflow for illustration purposes.

Form Submission 1

1. Trigger

All automations require a trigger. The trigger used in Form Submission workflows is "Form Submitted". Be sure to select the desired form from the drop-down and Save Trigger.

2. Create Opportunity

When a contact submits a form, you'll want the captured information to create an opportunity. In this action, you can select in which pipeline and stage you'd like the opportunity created as well as the way you'd like the opportunity to be named and where it came from.

3. Notifications

Here you can decide how you'd like to be notified of the new form being submitted. You can either be notified by email, text or in-app. If you'd like to reduce the amount of notifications, simply delete and save.
