[Smart List](https://help.vintory.com/contacts?hsLang=en#smart-list) # Direct Mail Smart Lists ## Basic filters to create a Direct Mail Smart List Updated: May 06, 2026 **Please Note:** The ability to export is subject to your contract and the type of contacts. You can export any data you upload to the CRM along with any warm leads that resulted in opportunities. You will not be able to export your marketing lists generated through Vintory’s marketing list builder or any appended data.  Reach out to support if you have specific questions regarding your dat 1. Navigate to **Contacts** in the menu pane. 2. Click on **Advanced Filters. ** 3. **Recommended basic filters**in order to create your list. 1. Select "Address" from the main filter options then "Is not empty" and Apply 1. Make sure to use Contact Address, this is the mailing address. Site Address is the address of the rental property.  2. Select "DND" from the main filter options then "Is not: Enabled for All Channels" and Apply 3. Select "Pipeline" from the main filter options then "Is empty" and Apply 1. If a contact is already in a Pipeline they are part of a current opportunity journey. 4. Click "**Save as smart list**" to create the new list and name. 1. By default the list will only be viewable by the user who created the list.
